What's Oli been up to?
Yes, it's been a while, so I thought I would give everyone an update on what the little man has been up to.
He has been working on his knowledge of letters and numbers by watching and chanting along with a 'Sesame Street' DVD. He's very good at picking out letters, now, and happily shouts 'A!' when he sees a sign with the letter A on it. We're not too surprised, to be honest, as his Mum and Dad are both word-nerds.
He has just been sweet-talking everyone who will listen at the markets today, and getting a lot of free fruit and generous smiles from (mostly female) store-holders. He made friends with some lovely older ladies and showed them every single letter on the coffee sign (that he knew) whilst we had coffee with Eva and Nim (and little Leo).
The other day I took him for a ride on the train through the city and out the other side to Prahran, where he inspired spontaneous and synchronous 'ahhhhhh's' from a group of private school girls on the train when he stuck his head out of his pram, waved and said 'hi'.
He's a very sociable and friendly guy, and not many people can resist when he smiles and waves at them :)
Here he is now in a random assortment of pictures...
